Kangaroo Valley, June 2016My old friend Nick Barkla invited me to be stills photographer for his documentary about an equine therapy course in Kangaroo Valley. A group of returned Australian service men and women, all suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, spend a weeklong course working with retired race horses as a means of rehabilitation. Here, Nick and his cameraman discuss the shoot. Or maybe they are simply taking in the stunning scenery.
